Terms of Reference
The Academic Leadership Team:
- Provides advice to the Vice-Chancellor on strategic and operational planning and on strategic initiatives.
- Engages and contributes to the strategic and the annual operational plans, policies and performance targets for the University and for each faculty and research institute within the University.
- Receives and comments on periodic external reviews of each research institutes, University research centres and research platforms within the University.
- Receives and comments on periodic reviews (by Budget Committee) of the principles and procedures by which annual resource allocations to faculties and research institutes are determined.
- Advises the Vice-Chancellor and Budget Committee on the establishment of revenue targets for each faculty, research institute with respect to domestic EFTS, international EFTS, research and other operating revenues.
- Advises the Vice-Chancellor on significant requests for faculty and research institute expenditure additional to that approved in annual operational budgets.
