The University of Auckland has been ranked New Zealand’s leading university in the QS World University Rankings 2019. The University of Auckland is the only New Zealand university in the top 100. The University is ranked #30 worldwide for Pharmacy and Pharmacology. The University of Auckland is also the highest ranked university in New Zealand for its global reputation amongst both academics and employers. Worldwide, the University ranks #60 for Academic and #129 for Employer Reputation. In the Reuters Top 75: Asia-Pacific's Most Innovative Universities rankings 2017, the University of Auckland has been ranked as the most innovative university in New Zealand. The School of Pharmacy is proud to have made significant contributions to these rankings.
Since our inception in 2000, we have set up world class postgraduate programmes offering Research Masters and PhD students the opportunity to be supervised by experts in their field. Our academic staff have been successful in bringing in research funding from national and international sources and have significant research collaborations overseas. Our aim is to continue to build on our established international reputation for the quality of our research, and undertaking research which is relevant to healthcare in New Zealand and internationally. We are fortunate to be in a University and a Faculty that embraces research so wholeheartedly.
