Support Services for Students
Contact the SBS equity committee, or any individual committee member, for confidential support or with your ideas for equity improvements in SBS by emailing sbs.equity@auckland.ac.nz.
Find out about the centralised University services available to support your learning, your health or to meet your personal or community needs by visiting the Personal Support and Student Support websites.
If you need help, or are worried about another student, contact the excellent Science student support advisers (they can help with stress, work/life balance, financial issues and managing University admin). You can also contact Campus Care. They provide confidential advice and will help you access university support services. For health issues and counselling contact the Student Health and Counselling Service.
Students with disabilities can organise support for study success at by making an appointment with Student Disability Services.
SBS and the University has various facilities available for students who are parents, including breast-feeding facilities, parent spaces and childcare. Contact the Equity committee to find out about spaces in SBS by emailing sbs.equity@auckland.ac.nz.
