The Health and Rehabilitation Research Centre promotes the interrelationship between physical activity, health, and well-being by conducting clinical trials and fostering interactions between the University, healthcare providers, industry partners, and communities. The Centre includes the world-class Health and Rehabilitation Clinic. We conduct controlled physical activity-based intervention studies and provide state-of-the-art assessment of outcomes.

We undertake world-leading research with societal benefit that is aligned with the priority of health and well-being for all. We are focused on conducting clinical trials of physical activity-based interventions using state of the art assessment of human function. Our transdisciplinary centre provides innovative research opportunities by fostering and enabling interactions between the University, healthcare providers, industry partners and local communities.

 Our research centre includes the world-class Health and Rehabilitation Clinic.

The Clinic provides high quality evidence-based exercise rehabilitation services for people living with heart disease and other chronic illnesses or injury.
