What’s involved?
- Participation will require one or two visits depending on your availability, with a duration of two hours in total.
- Children will complete a hearing test assessment and an MRI scan to record brain activity.
- Participants (including parents) will be reimbursed $30 in vouchers to help with travel costs.
Eligibility criteria
Children:
- aged between nine and thirteen years old
- who are native English speakers or fluent in English
- with no hearing difficulties
- or diagnosed with APD.
However, your child will be excluded if they have:
- any implants in their body
