It is my humble privilege to welcome you to this online space for Māori within Pūtaiao, the Faculty of Science at Waipapa Taumata Rau, The University of Auckland.
I hope you will find stories of people you can connect and relate to and imagine yourself learning from or working alongside. We have Māori graduates, alumni and staff with a wide array of interests, making waves of influence and social change across the country, and who are world leaders in their chosen fields. We have a vibrant network of Māori staff within the Faculty, Te Taura Here Pūtaiao, who are innovating and advancing Māori initiatives within the Faculty.
We have a vibrant network of Māori and Pacific students, engaged in leadership, learning, and social opportunities through the Tuakana programme. Our kaiwhakaako, coordinators and mentors provide a range of opportunities and activities within each School, for you to take part in. We hope you might call in to see us!
Ngā manaakitanga,
Jade
