Bridging programmes to a Business PhD
If you do not have one of the above degrees and would like to further advance your skills and career through a PhD, you can now do so through one of our new bridging qualifications.
Offered from Semester One 2022, these flexible programmes cater to recent graduates of a masters degree in business, engineering, humanities, sciences or technology with a GPA of 5.0 or higher who are keen to build on their prior study and conduct doctoral-level research in Business.
Our new Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (120 points) and Postgraduate Certificate in Commerce (60 points) will enable you to:
- Use your prior qualification to complete a PhD from the Business School.
- Develop advanced specialised knowledge and skills that are in demand.
- Acquire career-enhancing skills.
- Broaden your career opportunities through original and relevant Business research.
You can study full-time or part-time, with a combination of advanced courses in your intended PhD subject, together with a research project in which you choose the topic and work with a supervisor.
You need to apply for a conditional acceptance to your intended PhD subject, which may be Accounting, Commercial Law, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, or Property.
