PropTech takes students outside the box

The Department of Property's Edward CY Yiu was featured on the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) website in August for his pioneering work on the Property Technology (PropTech) course he runs with CIE's Unleash Space. Property Technology is a Stage Three course run by the Department of Property as part of the Bachelor of Property Programme.

"PropTech is about applying advanced property technologies to solve market problems, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship in property markets. These are all beyond the normal and the course urges them to think outside of the box," Dr CY Yiu explained.
