The Strategic Supply Chain Management programme has wrapped up for another year. The group traversed a wide variety of topics and discussed the successes and challenges of a range of very different organisations and projects.

For those who want to delve deeper, this has been our programme content this year.

As you can see it is a fulsome list. The experience of being in the programme is not just one of gaining knowledge or sitting in a ‘classroom’. Participants engage with mentors, academic advisers and selected senior leaders and specialist speakers; work with their peers on issues, in simulations and case studies; construct a strategic project that they work on with their manager through the
programme.

In the programme next year we will be taking the opportunity to join with our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer colleagues for specific multi-disciplinary sessions on decision making in complex situations, collaboration and enterprise-level change. This will enable the individual cohorts to interact with each other and broaden their networks across the different fields.

Once again, our stellar Advisory Group members were very active – speaking, hosting site visits, mentoring and serving on the final presentation panels. A BIG thank you to them for their generosity and inspiring stories and experiences.

If you are interested in finding out more about the programme or wondering what development you may need to further your supply chain career, please get in touch with Felicity Lawrence.
