Master of Business Analytics

The Master of Business Analytics will equip you with specialist knowledge and skills needed to get work-ready for in-demand roles in business analytics, analytical consultancy and management locally and globally.

Master of Business Management
180 points, full-time or part-time, quarter-based evening classes
Ready to take your career to a new direction? Build on your prior qualification from any field and give yourself a competitive career edge. The Master of Business Management is a practitioner-focused masters, which will equip you with advanced business knowledge and skills, strengthen your personal, professional and managerial capabilities, and develop your personal networks.
Specialisations: Digital Marketing, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management*.

Master of Commerce
120 or 180 points, full-time or part-time semester-based classes
If you have a first degree in the same discipline, this masters will enable you to pursue a specialised qualification at an advanced level. It will prepare you for specialist positions in the public and private sector or to pursue further advanced study. You can choose from eight specialisations within this programme.
Our new redesigned 180-point MCom offers two smaller research output options alongside the 60-point Dissertation. Students can opt for either the Research Project, which provides further training in research and disciplinary knowledge, or the Consultancy Project, emphasising applied knowledge and professional capabilities relevant for entry into the job market.
The 120-point programme offers a thesis pathway for students with relevant preparatory research experience.
Specialisations: Accounting, Commercial Law, Economics, Finance, Global Management and Innovation (includes Organisation Studies, HRM, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and International Business), Information Systems, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain Management.
Also available: Bridging programmes for students with a prior postgraduate degree aiming to transition into doctoral study and enhance their disciplinary knowledge and research skills.
Postgraduate certificate or diploma
Postgraduate Diploma in Business - Māori Development specialisation (PGDipBus)
120 points, prescribed quarter-based classes over two years
This programme is designed to build on the knowledge and skills of Māori leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, business managers and administrators who are engaged in Māori business development and provides a formal business qualification to contribute at a senior level within a kaupapa Māori framework.
