Mānawa Mai Open Day is your chance to find out what it's like to be a student with us!

Come along and experience our campus in person and discover the world of Engineering. Parents and caregivers are also welcome to attend to find out more about life at the University of Auckland.

How to find us

There are two main entrances to our building; one on Grafton Road (opposite the Business School) which leads you to Level 2, and one on Symonds Street, which leads you to Level 4. 

Both entrances will have a sign-in desk to help check-in your registration upon arrival.

The University has arranged a fleet of buses free of charge ready to transport you from a range of locations across Aotearoa, New Zealand.  Plan your day by registering for your bus to and from the event.

Short Talks

The Short Talks are 10-15 minutes in length and will give an overview of one of our five departments. These talks will provide insights into the BE(Hons) programme – covering the main study areas of the department, as well as a look into some of their research, and examples of future careers that their graduates can go into.

Short Talks are designed to provide the most important information to
those attending in an easily understandable format.

Long Talks

The Long Talks are 20-25 minutes in length with each providing a deeper dive into a particular topic about one of our five departments – allowing students to gain a more in-depth understanding of the work that goes on within the department.
