Please note that you must read all postgraduate policies and guidelines in accordance with the University of Auckland Calendar.
Useful forms for postgraduate students
Late enrolment
To apply for a late enrolment, you must complete the Application to Enrol in or Substitute a Course Late (AS-70a) form.
Withdrawal
To apply for a withdrawal, you must complete the Course Withdrawal (AS-70b) form.
Senate Approval of Suspension from Enrolment
We recognise that during your postgraduate studies, you may experience things that are outside of your control that affects your ability to complete your studies. This excludes doctoral students. If you require an extension of time for one of your taught courses, you will need to talk to your course convener.

Senate Approval for Extension of Time for Submission of Postgraduate Research Component
An extension of time means that you are asking for additional time to complete your research component beyond the expected submission date due to exceptional circumstances.

Senate Approval for Extension of Time to Complete Postgraduate Programme
An extension means that you are asking for additional time to complete your postgraduate studies beyond the maximum time limit due to exceptional circumstances.
