The Centre for Supply Chain Management has close working relationships with other parts of the University of Auckland. In the Business School, the centre collaborates closely with Executive and Professional Development to bring together students, faculty, business leaders and developing professionals. The Supply Chain Advisory Group guides the work of the centre and the Executive and Professional Development supply chain learning portfolio, including Women in Supply Chain events.

This enables individuals and organisations to engage with each other and learn continuously about supply chains present and future. The activities of the centre and Executive and Professional Development give students and supply chain professionals access to a wide variety of opportunities to meet seasoned practitioners, senior leaders, researchers, innovators, interns, consultants and facilitators of learning. The purpose of this engagement is to learn quicker, share information, learn from people who have ‘done it before’ and collaborate with others more easily.

This year our theme is Sustainable, Collaborative, and Transparent Supply Chains. Our events and our LinkedIn Group will reflect this theme as will the six months long Strategic Supply Chain Management Programme through Executive and Professional Development. Build your network, get good ideas and learn what works (or doesn’t) by subscribing.
